Brief replies to questioners from the clear, decisive part of the Reminder (Al-Tadhkirah)...
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, and upon all those who follow him among mankind in every time and place until the Day of Judgment. Thereafter...
O Qamar Bani Hashim, broaden your thinking. Your question concerns the saying of Allah Almighty:
**[Al-Imran: 144–148]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Your question was: Why is the possibility of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, being killed mentioned—despite Allah having promised him divine protection from people?
But you forgot that this address is not exclusively about Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Rather, it is a general ruling that includes all callers to Allah—whether prophets of Scripture, prophets whom Allah granted wisdom of the Scripture, or the chosen Imams and vicegerents of Allah who invite people to worship Allah with clear insight from their Lord:
**"If they die or are killed, will you turn back on your heels?"**
Glory be to Allah! That is why it says, **"Messengers have passed away before him"**—in a general sense—because they all share one unified call, confirming the saying of Allah Almighty:
**[Al-Anbiya’: 25]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
O questioner, do you realize that if Allah had mentioned only death and not killing, the ruling would have implied apostasy from followers upon the death of any caller to the worship of Allah alone—exalted is He above such a notion! That would have given Satan a pretext to attack the word of Tawheed (monotheism), claiming it dies the moment its caller is killed! Glory be to Allah!
Indeed, the prophets and Imams of the Scripture all call to a single, universal word among all of Allah’s servants—this is the weighty saying in the clear revelation:
**"There is no god but Allah, alone without any partner in worship—just as He has no partner in creating His servants."**
This fulfills the very wisdom behind their creation, confirming the saying of Allah Almighty:
**[Adh-Dhariyat: 56]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
O Qamar Bani Hashim, you focused on one point in the verse and missed its greater meaning: that Allah is Ever-Living and never dies, and the call to worship Him does not perish due to the death or killing of those who invite to Him—because neither prophets, messengers, Imams, nor any righteous or disbelieving human being has any connection to Allah’s right of worship.
This is confirmed by the saying of Allah Almighty:
**[Al-Anbiya’: 34–35]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Has the idea reached your intellect? Allah is referring to the call to worship Him with insight from Him—this worship does not cease due to the death of its callers, because they have no share in Allah’s divinity. This is confirmed by the saying of Allah Almighty:
**[Al-Imran: 79–80]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
O Engineer Maher, I see you are impressed with your own intellect, though in truth you understand very little—no disrespect intended to your noble self. O man, burn the library you possess—it has led you astray from the right path. Follow me, and I will guide you to a straight path.
Why didn’t your “brilliant” mind reject the claim that the first chapter revealed in the Glorious Qur’an was:
**"Read in the name of your Lord who created..."**
**[Al-Alaq: 1–5]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
This address was not directed specifically to Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah—but rather to the one endowed with “the knowledge of the Book” (the human being whom Allah taught expression through recitation).
For indeed, Angel Jibreel did not descend upon Muhammad with a physical scripture in hand, saying “Read!”—because Allah knew His Prophet was unlettered (*ummi*), unable to read or write. And it was precisely his illiteracy that convinced the People of the Book of his prophethood.
Allah says:
**[Yunus: 94–95]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Do you know why the scholars among Jews and Christians were certain of his truthfulness?
Because he was unlettered—unable to read or write—confirming the saying of Allah:
**[Al-A’raf: 157]**
Had he been literate, the deniers would have doubted him, as Allah says:
**[Al-Ankabut: 48]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Despite his illiteracy, they found in him the decisive judgment on matters they had long disputed—and this judgment satisfied their intellects, proving it was from their Lord, as Allah says:
**[An-Naml: 76]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Perhaps Engineer Maher wishes to say:
“O Nasser Mohammad Al-Yamani, doubt has overwhelmed me regarding your matter. Won’t you tell us what Allah has taught you? And know that I, Maher the engineer, am exceptionally eloquent and articulate in rhetoric and expression!”
To this, the Khalifah of the Most Merciful—who no human or jinn can overpower in the Qur’an, even if they all gathered against him—responds:
I affirm the truth of Allah: He did not reveal to Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), a scripture written on paper. This is confirmed by Allah’s saying:
**[Al-An’am: 7]**
So how could Jibreel say to him, “Read,” if there was no written text?
Rather, the first chapter revealed to Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, was the one proclaiming the core of his message—calling people to Tawheed (Oneness of Allah), exalted is He above what they associate with Him. This was the introductory chapter defining Allah’s divine attributes: **Surah Al-Ikhlas**:
**[Al-Ikhlas]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
It was on the night of the 15th of Ramadan. After eating his evening meal, Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, climbed to the cave overlooking Makkah to reflect upon the dominion of the heavens and earth. He was seeking guidance from Allah, for he was unconvinced by the idolatry of his forefathers and found himself at a crossroads:
—His people worshipped idols,
—the Jews claimed ‘Uzair was the son of Allah,
—and the Christians claimed the Messiah was the son of Allah.
Then the angels and the Spirit descended. The Holy Spirit—Jibreel—appeared before Muhammad as a perfectly formed man. He approached the unlettered Prophet, who rose in alarm, reaching for his sword—but Jibreel seized his right hand, holding the sword in its sheath, and grabbed his garment with his other hand. Indeed, I find in the clear Qur’an that he was pulling him gently, saying: “Say!”
Muhammad asked, “What should I say?”
Jibreel repeated: “Say!”
Again, Muhammad asked, “What should I say?”
He replied:
**[Al-Ikhlas]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Then the man vanished. Trembling with fear, Muhammad rushed down the mountain to his home in Makkah. His heart pounding, he lay on his bed and said to his wife Khadijah bint Khuwaylid: “Cover me!” She wrapped him tightly in a blanket, pressing on his chest to calm his fear.
She asked, “O Muhammad, calm yourself—what has frightened you? My soul is your ransom!”
When his fear began to subside, he recounted to her how a perfectly formed man appeared before him, introducing himself as the Holy Spirit, the angel Jibreel, who commanded him to recite:
**[Al-Ikhlas]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
She asked him to repeat the story—and then a third time—and each time his words were identical. Then she fully covered him with the blanket. I believe she stepped out briefly to consult someone.
While she was gone, Jibreel (peace be upon him) returned and called:
**[Al-Muddaththir]**
**Allah speaks the truth.**
Then he vanished again, and fear returned to Muhammad. When Khadijah returned, he told her the man had reappeared and recited those verses.
She comforted him: “Be at ease—Allah will never disgrace you.” Then she took his clothes to purify them and dressed him in fresh garments. Indeed, dear believers, this moment was profound. Allah’s wisdom in initially striking fear into the Prophet’s heart was so that the event would be forever engraved in his memory.
In any case, my dear brother Maher, I bear witness before Allah that you are not a hypocrite. The supporters should not harm or mock you—fear Allah! Your only flaw is believing you possess great intellect—but you see through the eye of a needle, deluded by inherited notions.
O man! You argue with me about hidden bloodline conspiracies and global wars, and you dispute the verses of validation. But despite your resistance, I say: **“The living one is dead!”**
So go ahead—bring Muhammad bin Salman back to life if you are among the truthful! Or would you prefer Allah strike you as a new example for others? Why don’t you strain your nerves until Muhammad bin Salman appears to address the world in his familiar speeches—then you may argue with me!
But that shall never happen—by Allah! As impossible as threading a camel through the eye of a needle! The matter is already sealed, O Maher. Fear Allah, the Almighty, the Omnipotent!
Clinical death **is** real death. Indeed, even tyrant rulers are more truthful than Nasser Mohammad Al-Yamani! Yet I promise you this: **If Muhammad bin Salman ever appears to deliver a speech or hold a press conference—something utterly impossible—then I will cease debating you altogether.**
But such faces will vanish from screens—and I don’t grieve if you don’t believe me. And if I swear an oath, I swear by the Truth—despite your objections. For Allah will establish the truth.
How could Allah disgrace His Khalifah, O Maher? What do you think of one with whom Allah is? Will he be humiliated or shamed?
**Allah will never disgrace Imam Al-Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yamani—for judgment belongs to Allah, the Best of Judges!**
Peace be upon the messengers, and all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
Your servant and Khalifah of Allah,
Al-Mahdi Nasser Mohammad Al-Yamani.
